  • Advised in a £20M conspiracy claim concerning the sale and purchase of one of Europe’s largest stately homes still in private hands Haydon-Baillie and others v Bank Julius Baer & Co Ltd and Others [2007] EWCH 1609 (Ch)
  • Acted for the freeholder in a rent review arbitration in respect of hotel premises involving issues of law concerning the proper construction of the review clause and complex valuation issues
  • Represented a trust in the first application to come before the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 concerning a challenge to provisions in a Scheme of Management for the recovery of a maintenance charge
  • Acted for the freeholder in proceedings concerning the exercise of a right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 Kensington Heights Commercial Company Ltd v Campden Hill Developments Ltd [2007] EWCA Civ 245
  • Acted for The Cadogan Estate in the following enfranchisement related litigation and Tribunal proceedings:
