Pemberton Greenish strengthens real estate team with senior planning hire

Pemberton Greenish is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Hereward, as a Partner and Head of Planning, in the firm’s Real Estate department. Christine joins the firm from Howard Kennedy where she led the Planning department. Her appointment is effective from 19 September 2016.

Christine has extensive experience in planning law, advising on matters ranging from applications and appeals to public inquiries and enforcement matters for developers, land-owners, occupier clients and major house-builders. Regularly ranked as a leading planning practitioner in legal directories, the schemes Christine is instructed in vary widely to include residential, mixed use, hotel and restaurant, and a breadth of other commercial uses.

Prior to Howard Kennedy, Christine was Head of Planning and Property Law at Westminster City Council where she was responsible for planning law matters within Westminster. Christine was involved in a number of high profile projects including Leicester Square and the Victoria Station redevelopment and an innovative Mayfair public realm agreement with Grosvenor.

Pemberton Greenish is renowned for its Real Estate offering and this strategic hire reflects the firm’s continued investment in building its Real Estate practice in both commercial and residential property related expertise.
