Pemberton Greenish advise Birchall Properties on the US/UK regeneration project Peak Resorts, near Chesterfield
Pemberton Greenish have advised longstanding client, Birchall Properties and its majority shareholders on a major joint venture with US hotelier, Grand Heritage Hotels Group. The joint venture will take forward the redevelopment of the Birchall Golf Course site in Derbyshire to create a £400m world class hotel and leisure scheme with ancillary university, sport and medical uses.
The joint venture was first announced by PM David Cameron on his recent trip to the US and follows significant investment by Birchall Properties to acquire the site, obtain planning permission for the scheme and develop other key relationships.
Head of Commercial Real Estate, Jason Tann lead the Pemberton Greenish team and a team from Olswang lead by David Roberts, the Head of its Leisure and Retail Group, advised Grand Heritage.
