Notary Checklist

  • Engaging the Notary is NOT a rubber stamping exercise and there is no such thing as a “simple” notarisation of a deed. The Notary’s seal has the effect of authenticating and validating the contents of any document it is attached to. The Notary will need evidence, possibly from additional external sources, of your identity and authority to act before proceeding. Please complete this form and send it to the Notary, together with copies of the papers requiring notarisation.
  • Details of the person(s) appearing before the Notary (“the Appearer”)

  • Note: Please bring recent utility bill/bank statement to meeting.
  • Note: Please bring passport to meeting.
  • Details of company or other organisation the Appearer acts on behalf of (if applicable)
